It’s 1937, an amazing time to tour Jewish Mandatory Palestine. Come join us! Our guidebook is Nous Venons de Palestine ('We Come from Palestine'), a novelised account of the travels of two enthusiastic Jewish Cairenes, Jules Levy and Willy Chalom. We’ll visit cities and countryside, flourishing new Jewish institutions, a Misada Hapoalim, Hebrew theatre, and much more. We’ll meet Jews of Palestine and new Jewish immigrants, talk politics and history with them, and marvel at their hopes and dreams.
