One million Jews fought in WWI—almost half with the enemy. What happened when they met on the battlefield? Explore this and some of the myths and stories of Jews in WWI, including thousands of Iron Crosses, five Victoria Crosses, and Australia’s 1,700 Jewish Diggers, of whom almost 200 died on service. Peter will also share a song by a Jewish member of the ‘Gallipoli Strollers’, rare video footage, and reflections on his personal journey over the Anzac Centenary years.
