Do biblical commentators say anything about the harms of sitting? Do I need to bend my knees to safely lift a Torah for Hagbah? Why does my shoulder hurt when I put on my Tallit? Come to this session to explore the problems of deteriorating spinal posture and back pain, and their relationship to Judaism. We will discuss prolonged sitting, prolonged screen-time, and lifting techniques—and how Orthodox Judaism hints at a solution.
