Set in the middle of the Middle East, Tel Aviv is known as a uniquely LGBTQI+ friendly city with a vibrant community, night-life, and culture, and freedom. But does the Israeli gay community have real freedom? We will explore the history of the LGBTQI+ community in Israel and its struggles, and ask the question: Will the only Jewish and democratic state ever allow equal rights for the gay community?
