Antisemitism, anti-Zionism, and intersectionality: are Jews welcome on the political left?

The left has been Jews’ political home for over a century. But with antisemitism flourishing in Jeremy Corbyn’s UK Labour party, Women’s March leaders in the US excluding Jewish and Zionist women’s groups, and Australian Jewish students facing hostility from some progressive groups on campus, this natural alliance seems unsteady in 2019. How are some progressive leaders committed to fighting racism while also espousing antisemitic and anti-Zionist views? How do concepts of intersectionality and privilege play into this mess? Do Jews still have a place in progressive politics?
