What’s so funny about oppression? Would the Jews be so comedically renowned if it wasn’t for all that persecution? For millennia, Jews have been turning ‘knock knocks’ from the authorities into ‘knock knock’ jokes. This light-hearted debate will explore the origins of Jewish humour, featuring up-and-coming as well as established Jewish comics and community members. Prepare to laugh until your stomach hurts!
