Aharon Ariel Lavi

Aharon is a serial social entrepreneur, professional community organiser, and thinker who believes Judaism can inspire and inform all walks of life. He is co-founder of MAKOM, the Israeli umbrella organisation of intentional communities, and Hakhel, the first global incubator for Jewish Intentional Communities. Aharon has a PhD in Jewish economic thought and co-edited About Economy and Sustenance: Judaism, Society and Economics (2016). He lives with his wife and their four children next to the Gaza border and in his free time he is a professional mountain-biking guide.
